CMArt Week 3

Hi again,

This week we made a few other models to add to our surreal kitchen. They were a fork, spoon and cup (which I forgot to save).

This is the spoon that I made and if I remember correctly, I used the bevel/extrude (one of the two) to make the hollow part of the spoon. Also used the boolean tool to make the whole in the back of the spoon. Here are some screenshots of how the spoon came out:



This is the rendered version in Lightwave, pretty average looking but you get the gist of it.




Ok so after that we did a fork also. We were introduced to the 'Bandsaw' plug-in, which is a plug in that basically lets you slice/divide your object into several equal/unequal parts (such as the head of a fork). I did a couple of forks, one I just did by manipulating polygons and points by myself and one using the bandsaw plug-in. Here are the rendered versions of both:

I think I like my version better of the two anyway. I also made a wine glass which I must have forgotten to save, but i've got the instructions written down somewhere so it's all good.
