CMArt Weeks 7 & 8

Ok so in week 7 i finished my surreal kitchen. I had pretty much created all my appliances for the kitchen, so I added textures on all my items and built the kitchen in Lightwave. All was fine until it came down to rendering where one section of my kitchen would not render properly... And I couldn't figure out how to fix. Oh well, here is my kitchen - night and day versions:

Week 8 we learnt the basics of animation in Lightwave which seems simple enough (same principles apply as Flash for eg.) So I made an animation of a flying fork, but ofcourse with my luck after I exported the video, my fork was nowhere to be seen in the video, so need to keep testing as I may have had a setting wrong or something?

Anyway, I decided to begin drawing an electric chair as per the album cover I proposed I might do for my final piece a few weeks back. I'm still not 100% certain I will go with this idea, though If I cant find anything better to do then I will go with it. Here is where I'd gotten so far:

CMArts Week 6

Today I continued creating objects for my surreal kitchen. They are as follows:

Big knife

Cup

Light (to be added to walls)

Microwave
Toaster
Butter Knife

So basically my kitchen is almost ready to be compiled in Lightwave. All that remains for me to do is to add colour/texture to my objects and figure out how to create windows (for my walls).

I have also been thinking more about my next project and would consider doing something like this:

Or maybe a 3D rendition of an album cover like this:

CMArts Week 5

Hi again,

In Week 5 I began creating more objects for my kitchen. You will see below:

Walls

4-sided pyramid fridge

Surreal Stove/Sink

I didn't add colour to any of these items as I will colourize after I've finished drawing them all and then chuck into Lightwave. I already have some forks and spoons created so next week will just need to make a toaster/microwave etc and I should be able to begin colouring once that is done.
