CMArt Weeks 9, 10 & 11

So I have been a bit lazy the last few weeks in updating my blog, but that's not to say I haven't worked on my project at all. In week 9 I did research in looking up tutes that would help me to make my album cover look as good as possible, and weeks 10 and 11 I spent building my objects for it.

Here are some screen shots of my project so far:

Electric Chair- Here I used a combination of standard modelling tools and magic bevel to create my chair:

Lightning - made with the use of the magic bevel tool:

Title - I tried to draw this initially, but found it wasn't as easy as I'd thought it be, so I downloaded a free font in the same style and used the text tool to create and then extruded out to give 3d effect:

So basically my project is near completion, all that's left to do its create a smoky looking background (which I have found a good tute to use), animate and design a dvd cover for submission.

If I have time I would like to add my film clip to Final Cut and add music to my animation before submitting my final copy.
